12 Foods for Feeling Grounded

Grounding makes you feel more alert, less spacey, and less anxious - you can easily allow yourself to feel more grounded through food and drink. . . some you wouldn't expect!

Grounding is the process of connecting your energy and spirit to your physical body and the physical Earth. While the most traditional method of grounding usually involves meditation, that method doesn’t work for everyone all the time. Thankfully, there are other ways to ground yourself and connect to the Earth that don’t require a regular meditation practice.

Intentionally choosing the foods and drink we consume, and creating a diet based in earth-centered, wholesome foods easily helps bring us to a state of grounding.

Being grounded has so many benefits, including allowing you to feel more clear headed, less foggy, more certain of your life and decisions, less anxious, and less irritated by minor issues.

If meditation isn’t working for you, and you need to find a way to easily ground that fits into your schedule, consider this list of 12 foods on your next stop at the store!
